The 83rd Texas Legislature has already begun to stir controversy, and it doesn’t begin for another month and a half. Last week state representatives and senators began filing bills they would like to see passed this coming session. Among the 300 plus pieces of legislation filed to date is Senate Bill 11 which promises to be a very contentious issue, and one the nation should keep an eye on.
