Texas lawmakers will convene in Austin on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, for the 140 day Regular Session and during that time thousands of bills will be filed, debated, and voted upon. Many options are avilable for individuals to use when tracking legislation filed during the Texas Legislative Session.

A recent article on the Texas Tribune website highlighted their new web-based application, which is updated daily, and can be used to explore Texas legislative filings by searching for specific bill numbers — or their captions, subject categories or authors.
